Join us for #PromptHacks 2023, a collaborative hackathon

The Hackathon

At #PromptHacks we’re looking for creative and practical projects using GPT-4 and other LLM models. Individuals and teams will build over the course of a weekend and submit their projects and a demo video for judges. We’re excited to see what you will build.

What you need to know:

Online hackathon April 28-30
$10,000 cash prize pool
Hacks can be built using any combination of tools or technologies, but must include some use of LLMs.

Prizes

→ Prizes are awarded to winning teams. It is up to the team to distribute the winnings amongst its team members (e.g 5k prize split 2 ways)

For #PromptHacks2023, we will be having 10k in cash prizes with the following breakdown

Total Cash Prize - $10K
- 1st place: $5,000
- 2nd place: $2,500
- 3rd place: $1,200
- 4th place: $800
- Most Useful Everyday Life Hack: $500

Timelines and Logistics

Building time	Opening ceremony end until submissions
Hackathon Submissions Due	Sunday April 30th, Noon EDT.
Hackathon Finals & Closing Ceremonies:	Sunday April 30th 6pm EDT
Winners announced	Sunday April 30th 7pm EDT

Online Hackathon Platforms

For this event we will be using three main tools/platforms: Goldcast, Discord and Devpost.

Goldcast will host our opening and closing ceremonies. We will be emailing links to both events.

Discord will be our main form of communication during the event, including mentorship and Q&A. After you join the discord server, you will have an oppurtunity to ask questions, find teammates or drop into a mentorship session.

Devpost will host our submissions for the event. To be eligible for prizes you must submit on dev post.
